World Space Week is held annually from October 4 to 10, drawing attention to achievements in space exploration and space science while encouraging young people to take an interest in science. This field is also explored in various ways through MCC's programs. Students in MCC's Youth Talent Program (FIT) can learn about astronomy and space during club sessions and have recently had the opportunity to contribute their own ideas to experiments connected to a Hungarian space mission.
New opportunities, first experiences of university life, and new friendships took center stage at this year’s Junior Days, a two-day program welcoming students who have recently joined MCC’s University Program. The event gave participants an opportunity to get to know one another, discover what lies ahead, and experience the diverse community of the University Program through a mix of professional and community activities.
The 2026/2027 academic year has officially begun in MCC’s Roma Talent Program, with 47 high school students and 25 university students joining the program this year. At the opening ceremony, István Antal, Head of MCC's Roma Talent Program, welcomed the participants and wished them a successful year ahead.
This October, the international robotics community will turn its attention to Incheon, South Korea, where young innovators from around the world will gather for the FIRST Global Challenge. Hungary will be represented by five MCC students, who have spent months preparing to compete with their own robot.
What happens when young people take something familiar and give it a new meaning? A traditional song can become a completely new piece of music, a famous painting can inspire a contemporary performance, and a story passed down through generations can be told from a young person’s own perspective. At MCC ARS, students explore Hungary’s cultural heritage through their own ideas, experiences and creativity.
